What a wonderful photo session we had with this little lady on her first birthday. She is so bright, and was the most aware of the camera than any other 1 year old I have ever photographed. I was truly impressed! And ohh the fantastic images we captured together.
A special thank you to Grandma for letting us use her beautiful home as our background for both of her granddaughters. Miss Dru is cousins with the sweetie pie in the previous post, they are only 3 days apart.
At 11 months old and running, all she wanted to do is explore her world. And although I was able to get some cute smiles, her pensive look was so much more compelling. She is a beauty, and take a look at those amazing eyes! Thank you for gifting me the privilege of being the first photographer to capture your little lady.
This 1 year old was very active and curious, as to be expected... but words cannot describe how very magical this session was. The images we captured are ALL amazing, perhaps it is because he is so stinkin' cute?
My trip to Santa Cruz on Saturday was short, and so sweet. This birthday girl was beyond excited that we were at the beach; a true "Beach Baby" wanting to jump in the water and eat sand. Although it was foggy and misty making the ocean look drab, the lighting was a photographers dream for portraits! Between the beautiful lighting and enthusiastic subject, our session together lasted just under and hour and almost every single shot was a keeper.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for choosing me to photograph your precious granddaughter, this past year has been a pleasure!
Here is her year in review at 1 year, 9 months, 3 months, and 20 days
Here is yet another repeat subject. I first met Miss Madison when she was still in the womb, a mere 6 days before her birth. I then photographed her 4 more times in this last year. She sure has grown, while still keeping that sweet face of hers. It has been a wonderful year with you Maddy!
Here is her year in review at 7 months, 3 months, 9 days and in the womb.
Mom warned me that her 11 month old has been walking since he was 8 months! He is no longer walking, but running circles around everyone. His bright eyes and warm smile melted my heart.
Almost a year has passed since I first met this family. During these past 4 sessions we had together, Sean went from a beautiful bald baby to a toddler with curly blond locks. His big personality and bright eyes have never ceased to amaze me. Thanks for a wonderful year!
Here is a year in review over the past four sessions together. Sean at 12, 9, 6 and 2 months old.
This beauty kept me on my toes, she is newly walking and exploring everything. What a sweet image of her in the tutu Mommy made for her 1st birthday. Happy Birthday little princess.
I am a simple gal with a pure style to my art, avoiding the look of heavily "photoshoped" images. With that said, this little darling in her timeless dress, sitting on grandmas antique chair, holding her little lambie just melted my heart. Those cute little fingers and dirty little toes are so precious, nothing else but this "aged photo" look could do it justice.
